1. How do you teach your students?
Our company uses the internet as the main medium for classes. We have video classes wherein we use a software that enables a ‘classroom’ feel to our classes. We also provide mobile / telephone classes, wherein students are called by our teachers via VOIP phones.
2. How long are the classes?
Our classes range from 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes up to 60 minutes. Students may also request for longer classes. Our most common classes are 10 minute, 20 minute and 30 minute classes.
3. Can we apply even with no ESL experience?
Although applicants with experience bring an advantage, those with no experience are still encouraged to apply. Why? We provide paid training for all applicants that pass the hiring process. Training usually takes two weeks wherein the first week focuses on general speaking and class skills and system navigation. The second week is then divided into 4 hours of evaluation by students and 4 hours of reinforced training. The training in the second week is aimed to further enhance existing skills and to provide feedback and/or constructive criticism.
4. Can I apply even as an undergraduate?
Yes. Our main focus is not necessarily on educational attainment but on overall English skills. As long as you can confidently speak with a relatively neutral accent, you may apply.
5. Do you accept part-time teachers?
Hiring is focused for full time positions. We currently do have part time teachers, but most of them did start as full time teachers. A teacher has be a regular employee with outstanding performance and attendance before part time shift is granted. Even then, granting of part time shift is at the sole discretion of the company. Our standard part time shifts are 5:00 AM – 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
